Sara Alicia

Sara Alicia (BRI 100%): Gold-Cobalt

Historically 19 diamond core holes have been drilled into the Sara Alicia project for 1,607m by a previous operator. Drilling intersected significant widths of high-grade gold and cobalt mineralisation assaying up to 60g/t Au and up to 6% Co.

Geologically, the Sara Alicia prospect hosts a sequence of carbonate rocks which have been intruded by a porphyry. Strong alteration and mineralising reactions in the limestones have formed a skarn horizon (or manto) enriched with garnet, magnetite and sulphides and containing the high grade gold and cobalt mineralisation.
